History
Domaine Gros Frère et Soeur is a Flagey-Échezeaux estate — part of the extended Gros family that holds significant grand cru land across the Vosne-Romanée area. Flagey-Échezeaux is an administrative commune adjacent to Vosne-Romanée, containing the Échezeaux and Grands Échezeaux Grands Crus within its borders. The Gros family's various branches each own parcels in some of Burgundy's most prized sites.
Winemaking Approach
The domaine works four grand cru parcels spread across three communes — Vougeot, Flagey-Échezeaux, and Vosne-Romanée. At roughly 3.9 ha of grand cru land in aggregate, this is a meaningfully sized holding for a single estate in Burgundy's most tightly parceled zone.
