Gérard Tremblay is a Chablis estate with five parcels spread across four communes — Chablis, La Chapelle-Vaupelteigne, Poinchy, and Milly. One holding reaches grand cru level: Vaudésir, among the seven officially classified Chablis grands crus. Founding records are limited.
Winemaking Approach
The portfolio covers the full Chablis quality ladder in compact form: Vaudésir at the top, four premiers crus (Fourchaume, Beauroy, Côte de Léchet, Montmains) below it. Each site brings a different expression of Kimmeridgean limestone — Fourchaume's weight from its right-bank exposure contrasting with Montmains' leaner, more austere style. The domaine follows the parcel-bottling model standard in the region.
