ニュイ・サン・ジョルジュとヴォーヌ・ロマネに拠点を置くオーレリアン・ヴェルデは、村を代表する優れた一級畑を3つ擁するドメーヌだ。ニュイ北部のヴォーヌ側に位置するレ・ダモードのほか、同村のオー・ブド、そしてヴォーヌ・ロマネのレ・ボー・モンを保有している。なかでもヴォーヌの銘醸地レ・マルコンソールに隣接するオー・ブドは、石の多い急斜面と地表近くまで迫る岩盤を特徴とする。ここでは黒系果実の風味を伴う、華やかで官能的なフルボディのワインが生まれる。この畑はニュイ・サン・ジョルジュの個性を備えつつ、隣接するヴォーヌ的な特質も併せ持つとされる重要な区画だ。総保有面積はわずかだが、コート・ド・ニュイの要所に一級畑を絞り込み、その土地の個性を精緻に表現している。

History
Domaine Aurelien Verdet is a small Nuits-Saint-Georges estate. Nuits sits at the southern end of the Côte de Nuits — no Grands Crus, but a strong and diverse set of premier crus that consistently produce structured, age-worthy reds. Public records on the estate's founding are limited.
