コート・ド・ボーヌ地区ポマール村の北部に位置するレ・ソシユは、標高約280メートルから310メートルの斜面に広がる7.12ヘクタールのプルミエ・クリュである。この畑はボーヌ村との境界に接しており、同じく一級畑のレ・ペズロルの上部に隣接している。土壌は石灰岩が豊富に混ざる小石の多い構成で、水はけに優れているのが特徴だ。主要な所有者には、0.78ヘクタールを保持するドメーヌ・B＆T・グラントネイのほか、アントワン・ジョバールやジャン・マルク・ボワイヨ、アラン・ジャニアールらが名を連ねる。また、この畑の内部にはドメーヌ・デュ・ムーラン・オー・モワンヌのモノポールであるクロ・オルジュロが内包されている。
Les Saussilles is a premier cru in Pommard, the Côte de Beaune commune synonymous with structured, age-worthy Pinot Noir. Pommard's *climats* cluster on east-facing slopes of clay-rich limestone — soils that lend its wines their characteristic grip.
