Les Montrevenots is a premier cru *climat* in Beaune, the historic wine town that anchors the Côte de Beaune. Beaune's ring of premier crus extends in nearly every direction from the town walls, and Les Montrevenots occupies southern-facing parcels where the slope produces red wines with more structure than the lighter soils nearer the town. The *climat* has attracted a diverse set of owners over time, including one of the Côte de Beaune's most storied charitable institutions.
Les Montrevenots produces red wine from Pinot Noir. At approximately 3.99 ha, it is one of the larger Beaune premier cru *climats*, worked by 9 producers. The wines carry the broad-shouldered reliability typical of Beaune premier crus — accessible fruit, moderate tannin, and enough structure to reward short-term cellaring.
