Les Beaux Champs is a premier cru *climat* in Montagny-lès-Buxy, at the southern end of the Côte Chalonnaise. Montagny is planted exclusively to Chardonnay — the only commune in the Côte Chalonnaise that produces white wine only — and all its named parcels carry premier cru status.
Chardonnay, white only. The *climat* sits within the commune's premier cru mosaic. Premier cru regulations apply: minimum 9,000 vines per hectare, yields capped around 45–48 hl/ha.
