ピュリニー・モンラッシェのプルミエ・クリュであるクラヴォワヨンは、総面積7.12ヘクタールを擁する。この一級畑は、グラン・クリュの境界からムルソー方面へと続く、村内でも特に優れたクリマが連なる一画に位置している。ピュリニーらしい花の精緻な香りと、全体を貫く鋼のような骨格を兼ね備えたワインを生む有力な区画の一つである。主要な所有者はドメーヌ・ルフレーヴで、約4.8ヘクタールという広大な面積を保持している。そのほか、ドメーヌ・アラン・シャヴィが0.5ヘクタール、ドメーヌ・ジャン・ルイ・シャヴィが0.26ヘクタールを所有するなど、複数の生産者がこの畑からワインを手掛けている。
Clavoillon is a premier cru in Puligny-Montrachet, Côte de Beaune — a village that contains four grands crus (Le Montrachet among them) and an unusually strong bench of named premier cru *climats*. Clavoillon sits within that mosaic, classified at the level immediately below grand cru.
