ジュヴレ・シャンベルタン村の南端に位置する4.57ヘクタールのプルミエ・クリュです。北をラトリシエール、南をモレ・サン・ドニ村のクロ・ド・ラ・ロッシュという特級畑に挟まれた稀有な立地を誇ります。周囲より窪んだ地形のため一級に留まりましたが、地質は二層に分かれ、左上部は砂質を含む風化したグレーズ・リテ、残りはカルケール・ア・アントロックで構成されます。特級ラトリシエールよりも日照時間が長く、非常に上質なワインを生むポテンシャルを有しています。主要な所有者にはデュジャックやピエール・アミオ、ルロワ、ジョルジュ・リニエらが名を連ねるほか、ダヴィド・デュバンやロシニョール・トラペ、マルシャン・フレールなども区画を保持しています。
Aux Combottes is a premier cru vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, lying on the northern edge of the commune close to the Morey-Saint-Denis border. Its position at the commune's margin — physically adjacent to Chambolle and Morey — means the wines can carry an elegance less typical of Gevrey's more muscular southern parcels. Gevrey holds nine grands crus; Combottes is one of the premier crus orbiting that constellation.
