Les Genavrières is a premier cru in Morey-St-Denis, a Côte de Nuits commune wedged between Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny. The village is compact by the standards of its neighbours, but it carries five grands crus — including Clos de la Roche and Clos St-Denis — along with a tier of premier crus that fill the slopes above and below.
