Domaine Stéphane Aladame
Profile

History
Domaine Stéphane Aladame is based in Montagny-lès-Buxy, at the southern tip of the Côte Chalonnaise. Montagny is a white-wine-only appellation planted exclusively to Chardonnay — every parcel classified Premier Cru if it meets the minimum natural alcohol requirement, a quirk that makes the designation more common here than anywhere else in Burgundy.
Winemaking Approach
The domaine works seven Premier Cru parcels across Montagny, all in Chardonnay. With no village or regional parcels in the portfolio, the focus is squarely on the upper tier of the appellation — a concentrated, single-terroir approach that lets individual lieux-dits speak clearly.
