クロ・デ・ザルジリエール
ニュイ・サン・ジョルジュの南端、プレモー・コミューンに位置するこのプルミエ・クリュは、約4ヘクタールの広さを持ち、粘土質の多い土壌を特徴とする。アペラシオンの中核をなす中心部から南へ進むにつれ、ワインは概ね軽やかさを増していく傾向にあるが、ここではニュイ特有の堅牢な骨格と、繊細な質感が共存している。醸造においては、過度に力強さを追求するとタンニンの粗さが露呈しやすいため、造り手の巧みな手腕が求められる。主な所有者には、1.77ヘクタールを擁するミシェル・エ・パトリス・リオンのほか、アンブロワーズ、プリューレ・ロックなどが名を連ねる。粘土に由来する重厚さと、南側の区画らしい優雅さが調和した1本を生み出す銘醸地である。
Clos des Argillières is a premier cru *climat* in Nuits-Saint-Georges, at the southern end of the Côte de Nuits. The village holds no grands crus, but its premier cru roster is wide and capable — Argillières is one parcel in that strong array, with registered holdings totalling approximately 4.45 ha.
Pinot Noir, red only. Standard Burgundy premier cru regulations govern the site: minimum 9,000 vines per hectare, yields capped around 45–48 hl/ha, minimum potential alcohol 11.0–11.5%. The name nods toward the clay-rich (*argile*) soils characteristic of this part of the appellation.
