シャブリのフィエを拠点とするモロー・ノデは、合計5つの個性豊かなクリマを擁する造り手である。1級畑は、スラン川右岸の重要区画モンテ・ド・トネールのほか、左岸に広がるヴァイヨン、フォレ、モンマンの計4畑を保有。さらに特級畑ヴァルミュールに0.6ヘクタールの区画を所有している。このヴァルミュールは、閉ざされた谷の形状から夏は熱がこもり、冬は冷気が停滞する極端な中気候が特徴だ。粘土質を多く含む土壌から生まれるワインは、アロマこそ控えめだが、シャブリ特有のスタイルを超えたコート・ドール的な重量感とリッチな骨格を備える。魚料理よりも白身肉との相性が良いとされるその力強い質感は、ドメーヌが手掛ける精緻なラインナップの中でも、一際モノリシックな存在感を放っている。
