History
Domaine Maillard Père & Fils is an Aloxe-Corton estate on the northern shoulder of the Côte de Beaune. The Corton hill — shared by Aloxe-Corton, Pernand-Vergelesses, and Ladoix-Serrigny — carries the only Grand Cru red appellation in the Côte de Beaune, a geographical anomaly that gives producers based here access to Burgundy's most southerly great red terroir.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with little public information. The single recorded holding is a 2.10 ha parcel of Corton Grand Cru.
