History
Charly Nicolle is a Chablis producer based in Fleys, a small village on the eastern edge of the appellation, adjacent to several of the most elevated premier cru terroirs. Fleys does not have the name recognition of Chablis town itself, but its plots in Les Fourneaux and Mont de Milieu are well regarded for their minerality and structural definition. The domaine's founding history is not documented in public sources.
Winemaking Approach
Three premier cru parcels, all in Fleys, create a tight, village-focused portfolio. Les Fourneaux (2.50 ha) is the anchor — a climat with its own distinct chalky character — complemented by Mont de Milieu (1.00 ha) and the smaller Côte des Prés-Girots. The concentration within a single village allows for precise, terroir-driven work.
