Domaine Charlopin-Tissier is a small estate based in Pernand-Vergelesses, on the western flank of the Corton hill. Pernand contributes a distinctive portion of the Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru — exposed to the southwest and known for whites of breadth and depth. The domaine's founding history is not publicly documented.
Winemaking Approach
Two parcels across two communes — one Grand Cru, one premier cru — make for a very compact profile. The combination of Clos Vougeot (red) and Pernand premier cru (white) reflects two quite different expressions of Burgundy within a single small cellar.
