Les Hauts Jarrons is a premier cru in Savigny-lès-Beaune, a commune northwest of Beaune that threads its vineyards along a small valley between two ridges. The "hauts" prefix places this climat on the upper slopes — drier, stonier ground above the valley floor, with soils that tend toward poorer clay-limestone mixes and earlier-ripening exposures.
Pinot Noir, red only. Registered holdings total approximately 1.22 ha across five producers. Savigny's upper-slope sites typically produce wines with more structure and grip than those from the lower-lying parcels closer to the valley bottom.
