Les Hauts Marconnets is a premier cru in Savigny-lès-Beaune, positioned on the upper portion of the Marconnets slope — the elevated counterpart to the lower Bas Marconnets. Savigny borders Beaune to the northwest, and its Marconnets sites sit on the southeastern-facing hillside closest to the Beaune boundary, giving them some of the best sun exposure in the commune.
Pinot Noir, red only. A single producer holds the registered hectarage. The upper Marconnets position — stonier and better-drained than the lower parcels — tends toward firmer structure and a longer finishing arc.
