ヴォルネーの丘から続く斜面がモンテリー村へと下る地形において、多くのプルミエ・クリュが村の北や東に集まるなか、レ・デュレスは唯一の例外として離れた場所に位置する。オーセイ・デュレス村へと続くこの畑は、非常に急な東向きの斜面を備えており、このアペラシオンにおける最良のプルミエ・クリュと目されている。ワインはヴォルネーに通じる魅力に加え、隣接するオーセイ・デュレス由来の硬い構造を併せ持つのが特徴だ。総面積は7.12ヘクタールで、主な所有者には1.72ヘクタールを擁するブシャール・ペール・エ・フィスをはじめ、ドメーヌ・デ・コンテ・ラフォンやオスピス・ド・ボーヌ、ドメーヌ・ドゥエレ・ポルシュレ、ドメーヌ・トープノ・メルム、ドメーヌ・フロラン・ガローデらが名を連ねる。
Les Duresses is a premier cru *climat* in Monthélie — a small Côte de Beaune village that sits between Volnay and Auxey-Duresses and punches above its modest profile with solid red wines. The name Duresses appears in both communes, each carrying its own ownership and character.
Pinot Noir, red only. Registered holdings total approximately 4.58 ha across 10 producers, making this one of the larger premier cru parcels in the commune.
