Les Combes is a premier cru *climat* in Montagny-lès-Buxy, the Côte Chalonnaise's southernmost commune and its only white-wine-exclusive appellation. Every parcel in Montagny is planted to Chardonnay — Les Combes sits among the named premier cru sites that give the commune its distinct character.
