ラ・ムイエール

La Mouillère is a premier cru vineyard in Montagny-lès-Buxy, at the southern tip of the Côte Chalonnaise. Montagny is unusual in Burgundy: every vineyard in the commune that meets the minimum natural alcohol threshold earns premier cru status, making the designation both widespread and, to some, a point of debate. The appellation produces Chardonnay exclusively.
Chardonnay, white only. Premier cru regulations apply: 9,000 vines per hectare minimum, yields capped at roughly 45–48 hl/ha.
