ラ・カイユート

La Cailloute is a premier cru in Mercurey, the largest commune of the Côte Chalonnaise. Mercurey's output skews heavily red, and La Cailloute belongs to that tradition — one named parcel within the commune's substantial premier cru holdings.
Pinot Noir, red only. Standard Burgundy premier cru farming: 9,000 vines per hectare, yields capped around 45–48 hl/ha.
