Grand Cru
1History
Domaine de Vauroux is a Chablis estate with holdings that reach from premier cru to grand cru. Chablis occupies the northernmost tip of Burgundy — its Kimmeridgian limestone soils and cool continental climate produce Chardonnays of distinctive mineral tension, quite different in character from the richer whites of the Côte d'Or to the south.
Winemaking Approach
The estate works three parcels across two communes, including one Grand Cru and two premiers crus — a range that spans Chablis's quality hierarchy from top to middle. Winemaking follows the domaine-bottling model standard to the appellation.
