1History
Domaine des Terres de Velle is based in Aloxe-Corton, at the northern foot of the Corton hill — the only grand cru hillside in the Côte de Beaune that produces both red and white at the highest classification. Founded by Isabelle Girardin-Mongeard in the early 2000s, the estate carved out a small but geographically ambitious portfolio from the outset, reaching into seven communes along the Côte.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate working seven parcels — one grand cru and six premier crus — across Aloxe-Corton, Savigny-lès-Beaune, Volnay, Chassagne-Montrachet, Auxey-Duresses, Chambolle-Musigny, and Puligny-Montrachet. That scatter across both côtes gives the domaine a distinctly varied palette, from the grand cru Corton-Charlemagne to the delicate Charmes premier cru in Chambolle.
