Domaine du Moulin aux Moines
Profile

History
Domaine du Moulin aux Moines is a Pommard estate. The name — "Mill of the Monks" — hints at ecclesiastical land ownership that shaped much of the Côte de Beaune before the Revolution. Detailed founding records are not widely available.
Winemaking Approach
Three Premier Cru parcels, all within Pommard, define this tightly focused estate. Working a single commune allows deep familiarity with the village's iron-rich soils and the muscular Pinot Noir style they tend to produce.
