History
Christophe & Fils is based in Fleys, a small village on the eastern fringe of the Chablis appellation, adjacent to some of the Grand Cru slopes. The estate's founding history is not well documented, but Fleys has long supplied Premier Cru fruit — most notably from Mont de Milieu — to both négociants and domaine bottlers.
Winemaking Approach
Three Premier Cru parcels across three communes — Fleys, La Chapelle-Vaupelteigne, and Fyé — define the estate's portfolio. The combination of Mont de Milieu, Fourchaume, and Montée de Tonnerre covers three of Chablis's most expressive Premier Cru sites, each with a distinct limestone exposure and slope orientation.
