ラ・ピュセル

La Pucelle is a premier cru vineyard in Rully, the northernmost commune of the Côte Chalonnaise. Rully built its early modern reputation on Crémant de Bourgogne — the region's sparkling wine — before still whites and reds reclaimed attention from producers seeking value alternatives to Puligny and Meursault. La Pucelle, with just over three hectares, is one of Rully's larger individual premier cru parcels.
Chardonnay, white only. Registered holdings total approximately 3.03 ha across seven producers. The parcel is one of the more substantial in Rully's premier cru portfolio — a commune whose still whites can age with more ambition than their price suggests. Premier cru rules apply: 9,000 vines per hectare minimum, yields kept to roughly 45–48 hl/ha.
