シャトー・ガイヤール
コート・ド・ボーヌ地区モンテリー村に位置するシャトー・ガイヤールは、面積わずか0.49ヘクタールの小規模な一級畑である。この畑はル・クロ・ゴーテと道路を挟んで向かい合う位置にあり、全域にシャルドネが植えられている。内部は二つの小さなクロ（石垣で囲まれた区画）に分かれており、そのうちの一方は非常に高い壁に囲まれているため、トラクターの進入が困難なほどである。かつてアニック・パランが所有ドメーヌの大部分をフェヴレ社へ売却した際も、この畑は手放されずに対象から外された経緯を持つ。現在は、主要な所有者であるフロラン・ガラデが、大きい方のクロを管理してブドウを購入している。白ワインに特化した、希少性の高いプルミエ・クリュといえる。
Château Gaillard is a premier cru *climat* in Monthélie, a small Côte de Beaune village tucked between Volnay and Meursault. Monthélie produces primarily red wine and, though less prominent than its neighbours, holds a set of premier cru parcels on steep, east-facing slopes above the village.
Pinot Noir, red wine only. Premier cru parameters apply: 9,000 vines per hectare minimum, potential alcohol around 11.0–11.5%, yields in the 45–48 hl/ha range.
