ボーヌのプルミエ・クリュに格付けされるシャン・ピモンは、丘の麓を意味する名を持ちながら、実際にはクロ・デ・ザヴォー上方の斜面上部に位置しています。約18.19ヘクタールの面積を誇り、生産者によってはシャンピモンと綴ることもあります。この地の土壌は上下で性質が異なり、上部の白い石灰質泥灰土では白ワインが、鉄分を多く含む粘土質の下部では赤ワインが造られます。主要な所有者には2.05ヘクタールを擁するシャンソン・ペール・エ・フィスや、赤白両方を手掛けるドメーヌ・ジャック・プリウールのほか、ドメーヌ・ベッソン、ブシャール・ペール・エ・フィスなどが名を連ねます。堅実なスタイルが特徴で、多様な土壌の個性を反映したワインを生み出しています。
Champs Pimont is a premier cru *climat* in Beaune, the historic wine capital of the Côte de Beaune. Beaune's hillside wraps around the town in a near-continuous arc of premier cru vineyards — no grands crus here, but a deep field of named parcels with a long trading history. Champs Pimont is among the larger of those sites, and its ownership reflects the town's mix of domaines, négociants, and the Hospices de Beaune.
Pinot Noir, red only. Registered holdings add up to about 8.17 ha across 14 identified owners. Premier cru rules apply: minimum 9,000 vines per hectare, potential alcohol around 11.0–11.5%, yields capped near 45–48 hl/ha.
