Profile

1History
Domaine Pinson Frères is a Chablis estate with a six-parcel range anchored by a substantial holding in Les Clos. Chablis sits at the northern tip of Burgundy — geographically isolated from the Côte d'Or, yet unmistakably Burgundian in the way its Kimmeridgean limestone soils translate Chardonnay into taut, saline wines. The Pinson family has been present in Chablis for generations, working across the appellation hierarchy from village wines up through the seven Grands Crus.
Winemaking Approach
Six parcels across three communes — one Grand Cru, five Premiers Crus — give Pinson Frères a portfolio that spans the full Chablis quality ladder. Les Clos (2.58 ha) is the headline: the most prestigious of the seven Grands Crus, prized for its combination of power and finesse. Mont de Milieu (4.76 ha, in Fleys) is the estate's largest Premier Cru holding and a reliable expression of the appellation's mineral edge. The smaller Montmains, Forêt, Vaugiraut, and Vaillons parcels fill out the range with distinct premier cru characters.
