Les Galaffres is a premier cru *climat* in Russilly, one of the satellite hamlets of the Givry appellation in the Côte Chalonnaise. Givry produces red wine with a firmer structure than its Chalonnaise neighbors and a long track record — the commune was supplying Burgundian courts centuries before modern appellations existed.
