シャブリ地区の北側に位置するラ・シャペル・ヴォーペルテイニュ村に拠点を構えるシャトー・ド・マリニーは、土地の個性を反映した実直なワイン造りを行う生産者である。このドメーヌの特筆すべき点は、所有する畑の構成が極めて限定的かつ専門的であることだ。グラン・クリュの所有はなく、保有する畑は総面積のうち、拠点と同じ村に位置する一級畑のロム・モールのみという構成になっている。シャブリの中でも特に北部に位置するこの一級畑に特化し、そのテロワールを表現することに注力しているのが最大の特徴といえる。村の名前を冠したシャトーとして、特定の区画が持つポテンシャルを実直に引き出すその姿勢は、ブルゴーニュの伝統的なドメーヌのあり方を体現している。
