サントネイとヴォルネイを拠点とするシャトー・ド・ラ・クリーは、4つのプルミエ・クリュを擁する造り手です。サントネイ中央部の急斜面に位置するボールペールは、硬い石灰岩を主体とする土壌から、果実味豊かなエレガンスを備えたワインを生みます。また、石の堤に囲まれたクロ・フォバールは、石が蓄える熱によりブドウが早く成熟する温暖な区画で、ミネラル感のある軽やかな赤や白が特徴です。さらに、サントネイ北端のレ・グラヴィエールに加え、ヴォルネイのレ・ザングルにもプルミエ・クリュを保有しています。コート・ド・ボーヌ南端に位置しながら、コート・ド・ニュイにも似た複雑な地質学的恩恵を受けるサントネイのテロワールを、複数の個性豊かな一級畑を通じて表現しています。

History
Château de la Crée is an estate based in Santenay, the southernmost traditional village of the Côte de Beaune. Santenay produces both red and white wines at Premier Cru level — a versatility rare at the southern tip of the Côte — and the village's vineyards extend into the rolling hills above the town. The domaine reaches north to Volnay as well, adding a Premier Cru parcel there. Detailed founding records are not in public circulation.
