シャサーニュ・モンラッシェの南側に広がるプルミエ・クリュ、モルジョ。ヴィーニュ・ブランシュはその膨大な面積を誇るクリュを構成する小区画の一つである。主要な所有者にはドメーヌ・コフィネ・デュヴルネが名を連ねる。一般的にモルジョの名を冠する白ワインは、力強い厚みと深み、そして優れた熟成ポテンシャルを備えるのが特徴だ。しかし、この一帯は本来ピノ・ノワールの栽培に適した重い土壌が含まれており、場所によっては白ワインが重たくなりすぎる傾向も見られる。ヴィーニュ・ブランシュは、ラ・ブドリオットやレ・フェランドといった著名な区画と同様に、広大なモルジョの中で独自の名前を名乗ることが認められている細分化されたテロワールの一つである。
Vigne Blanche is a premier cru in Chassagne-Montrachet, on the Côte de Beaune. A single producer holds the entire climat.
Chardonnay, white only. Premier cru regulations apply: 9,000 vines per hectare minimum, potential alcohol around 11.0–11.5%, yields capped near 45–48 hl/ha.
