ボーヌ村の斜面を降りた先に広がるレ・シュアシューは、総面積5.04ヘクタールを有する一級畑である。ヴィーニュ・フランシュの麓、穏やかな起伏を描く沈降地に位置しており、近隣の区画と比較しても標高が低く平坦な地形が特徴だ。この地名は、かつて湿地を好む柳が自生していたことを示す古い方言に由来すると伝えられている。主要な所有者にはルイ・ジャドやドメーヌ・コスト・コーマルタンが名を連ね、特にジャド家は複数の名義で計0.67ヘクタール以上を管理している。ボーヌの伝統的な格付けにおいても安定した評価を得ており、派手さはないものの、土地の個性を反映した実直なワインを生み出す産地として知られている。
Les Chouacheux is a premier cru *climat* in Beaune, the historic wine capital of the Côte de Beaune. Beaune wraps its town walls in an unbroken belt of premier cru vineyards — more than 40 named sites — that fan out across every compass direction. Les Chouacheux occupies a small corner of this mosaic, closely associated with Louis Jadot, whose holdings dominate the parcel.
