コート・シャロネーズ地区のリュリーに位置するシャピトルは、7.12ヘクタールの面積を有するプルミエ・クリュである。この畑の主要な所有者には、0.87ヘクタールを保持するヴァンサン・デュルイユ・ジャンティアルをはじめ、0.6ヘクタールを所有するドメーヌ・ベルヴィル、さらにイエガー・ドゥフェなどが名を連ねている。村の北東部に位置し、標高240メートルから270メートルの東向きの斜面に広がっている。土壌は主に粘土石灰質で構成されている。リュリーの中でも歴史的に評価の高い区画の一つであり、シャルドネを用いた白ワインとピノ・ノワールによる赤ワインの両方が生産されている。地形的な特徴と所有者の顔ぶれから、この村のテロワールを理解する上で欠かせない一級畑である。
Chapitre is a premier cru *climat* in Rully, the northernmost village of the Côte Chalonnaise. Rully built its reputation on white wines and Crémant de Bourgogne, and its premier cru parcels — Chapitre among them — sit on the gentle slopes that define this quieter stretch of Burgundy's appellation map.
Chardonnay only, white wine. Registered holdings total approximately 1.47 ha across four producers. Standard premier cru parameters apply: 9,000 vines per hectare minimum, potential alcohol around 11.0–11.5%, and yields capped in the 45–48 hl/ha range.
