シャンラン
コート・ド・ボーヌのヴォルネイ村北端に位置するプルミエ・クリュ、シャンランは、ポマール村との境界に隣接している。この畑は、フレミエやレ・ザングルといった近隣の区画とともに、ヴォルネイの中でも比較的がっしりとした構造を持つワインを生む傾向がある。一般に繊細さやエレガンスが強調されるアペラシオンにおいて、より力強いスタイルや、時にはタニックな質感を備える点がこのクリュの特徴といえる。現在はルイ・ジャドやH&G・ビュイッソンらが主要な所有者として名を連ねている。ポマール側の同名の畑と地続きである地理的条件が、その骨格のある仕上がりに寄与しており、伝統的なヴォルネイの軽やかさとは異なる独自の個性を形成している。
Chanlin is a premier cru *climat* in Volnay on the Côte de Beaune. Volnay produces some of the most graceful Pinot Noir on the entire slope — the commune's wines lean toward aromatic lift and silky texture rather than weight — and its premier crus carry that character through the classification.
