History
Domaine François Lumpp is a Givry-focused estate in the Côte Chalonnaise, based in Dracy-le-Fort. Givry produces mostly red Pinot Noir from iron-rich limestone soils — historically a wine drunk at the Burgundian royal court, though now firmly in the value end of the Côte.
Winemaking Approach
Seven Premier Cru parcels, all in Givry and Dracy-le-Fort, give the estate a tightly focused identity. À Vigne Rouge (2.45 ha) and Le Pied du Clou (1.65 ha) are the largest holdings. The style typical of the domaine favors structure and grip — wines that need a few years in bottle to open fully.
