シャンボール・ミュジニー村の北西部に位置するレ・ヴェロワイユは、標高の高い斜面に広がるクリュである。この地所は村名格の区画が大部分を占めるが、斜面上方のわずか0.37ヘクタールのみが一級畑として認められている。この特権的な区画を単独で管理しているのがドメーヌ・ジレーヌ・バルトだ。土壌は石灰岩の性質が強く、母岩に近い浅い表土が特徴となっている。冷涼な微気候とミネラル感に富む地質の影響を受け、ワインは骨格の明確なスタイルを示す。周辺の力強い銘柄に比べ、より垂直的で引き締まった構造を持ち、繊細なアロマが際立つ傾向にある。ドメーヌの丁寧な栽培とこの土地固有の性質が結びつき、独自の個性を形成している。
Les Véroilles is a premier cru *climat* in Chambolle-Musigny, Côte de Nuits. The village sits between Morey-Saint-Denis and Vougeot, and its soils — shallow, rocky, limestone-dominant — are credited with producing some of the most delicate Pinot Noir in the Côte. Les Véroilles occupies a very small block on the slope, effectively a single-owner parcel in today's registry.
Les Véroilles produces red wine from Pinot Noir. Registered holdings total 0.37 ha, making this one of Chambolle's smallest premier cru parcels. The typical Chambolle character holds: pale ruby, florals, fine tannin, and a silky texture that rarely tips into weight.
