Clos Sorbé is a premier cru in Morey-St-Denis, one of the smaller communes of the Côte de Nuits. Morey sits between the grand cru giants of Gevrey-Chambertin and Chambolle-Musigny, and its *clima* mosaic includes five grands crus of its own — a remarkable density for such a compact village. Clos Sorbé occupies a named parcel within that structure, carrying premier cru status in the Burgundy AOC hierarchy.
