ヴージョ村に拠点を構えるシャトー・ド・フュイッセは、同村内にあるプルミエ・クリュの「ル・クロ」を唯一の自社畑として所有しています。ヴージョの地は1098年のシトー修道院創設に始まり、12世紀には教皇勅書にその名が登場するなど、ブルゴーニュのなかでも極めて古い歴史を有しています。修道士たちがヴージュ川を遡り、荒れ地を開拓してブドウを植えたことから始まったこの地は、現在も歴史的な重みを湛えています。この造り手が手掛けるル・クロは、特級畑クロ・ド・ヴージョに隣接し、幹線道路を挟んで広がるジイ・レ・シトーの境界近くに位置しています。歴史ある村の個性を反映した一級畑のみに注力する、明確なアイデンティティを持つ生産者です。
