Profile

History

Domaine Anne & Thierry Dureault is a small estate in Mercurey, the Côte Chalonnaise's most productive commune. Mercurey generates the bulk of its reputation on red wine, with structured Pinot Noirs that regularly outperform their appellation pricing. The Dureaults work a single premier cru parcel — a focused operation by any measure.

Winemaking Approach

A single parcel, a single premier cru: Clos Voyens. Little public information goes beyond the holding itself, which is as it often is for tightly run Chalonnaise estates. The fruit comes from one of Mercurey's named premier cru sites.
