Parize Père & Fils
Profile

History
Parize Père & Fils is a small estate in Givry, the Côte Chalonnaise commune whose reds earned a following at the French royal court and whose Premier Cru network has expanded considerably since appellation rules were tightened in the 1980s. Public records on the estate's founding are sparse.
Winemaking Approach
A small estate with little public information. Two Premier Cru parcels — one in Givry proper, one in the satellite hamlet of Poncey — cover the core of the appellation's red-wine terroir.
